Zeotrope

Last Tuesday I went to a local bar to attend the GAG (that's Glamorgan Animation Gathering, kids), a meet-up held by the mighty Matt Simkins where us geeks can kick back and relax.

This week Matt used his powers to turn a sewing machine into a zeotrope, and by drawing 24 frames on long strips of paper we were able to create animations.

Here's a monkey I drew with a little help from a pint of lager!

Roger Ramjet

This show rocks. I got it on DVD about a year ago, and it did a lot to cheer me up at a time when I felt a bit down.

More HB Studies

My friend Beth requests that I inform the world that it was SHE who pointed out that Quick Draw McGraw looks like a bowling pin.

Layout Exercise

John K posted an exercise in analyising how this clean-up differs from his original sketch, so I took a whack at it.

The copy is by Paul Badilla - check him out!
